One Happy Customer Said…

Rory – West Highland Terrier
When Rory was a pup, he was extremely excitable as most young pups are, however if a human, you would say that Rory had a phobia about being groomed. From the earliest days it was simply impossible for us to get him groomed, even by some of the best groomers in Edinburgh.
We had resorted to trying to groom him ourselves which in itself was extremely distressing for both Rory and us. Our attempts to calm him down and groom him failed and we were left without a solution.
It was after we had given up on getting our wee soul groomed that we met you Pam, through an introduction by our dog walker Kenny Sharpe. You were our last hope and your quite unique technique of familiarising yourself with your clients dogs, along with the clients, created an environment of comfort, familiarisation and contentment, prior to trying to groom him.
The involvement of the client for numerous visits getting to know the dog, before attempting to groom, was a process he responded to and then slowly, without full grooming he began to allow you to groom him. In very small stages at first, leading to more each time, ultimately resulting after a year in him finally allowing you to fully groom him with the my full involvement.
We cannot thank you enough for your patience and your unique technique and process for grooming Rory. Thank you very much and if asked we would warmly and heartily encourage people to have you groom their dogs.
